Terms and Conditions


By using the Pearce Cycles website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

While we make every effort to ensure all information on this site is correct unfortunately mistakes can sometimes occur. If you have purchased something incorrectly based on an incorrect image or description we will of course refund or replace the item as necessary. If we have made a pricing error we will contact you for authorisation before anything is sent.

When placing an order the invoice address given must be the same as that registered with your credit card company. If you need your order to be delivered to a different address please complete the additional delivery address field during Checkout.  In some cases we can only deliver items to the registered cardholder's address - if this is the case we will notify you as soon as we receive your order.  We never disclose customer information to any third party.

Please note that the actual colour of some items may differ slightly from the photographic representations shown on this site. Whilst we endeavour to know all products on this site, it should be noted that product descriptions, performance and suitability are purely subjective and are based on information provided by each manufacturer or supplier.

Pearce Cycles treat all personal information and relevant payment details safely and in confidence. Secure Servers using encryption technology ensure it is almost impossible for any third party to access information stored by us. Once a payment has been authorised all payment information is immediately and permanently removed from our servers.

All prices are in £ Sterling. We reserve the right to change our prices immediately as necessary such as a change in the VAT rate or if there is a major change in the value of the pound against any currencies, which could affect some imported items.
Payment will only be taken just prior to us despatching the goods.

We accept payment using the following cards:
• Delta, Maestro, Mastercard, Solo, Visa and Visa Electron
Unfortunately we are unable to accept American Express.

Delivery times

We use an insured and trackable delivery service from The Royal Mail and TNT. When goods are despatched a confirmation email will provide details on delivery method and tracking information which can also be accessed by visiting ‘My Account’ on the website.

Delivery time is from the date of despatch and not the date of ordering. Deliveries are made between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, with most parcels requiring a signature. If there is no one at home to receive the delivery a card will be left detailing re-delivery instructions.

If an order is placed before 1.00pm we aim to despatch the same day (Monday-Friday). Subject to stock availability.

Stock Levels & Out of Stock Items

We try to ensure products always remain in stock, but sometimes if popular or during supply delays a product can sell out. In all cases, if an item is out of stock we will provide our best estimate on an expected delivery date. If this is unsatisfactory please inform us that you wish to cancel your order.

If we only have part of your order in stock and you select free delivery we will hold your order until we are able to send out a completed order, if however you choose a priority next day service we will send goods out as soon as possible and in multiple drops if necessary at no extra cost.

Specific Delivery Date Requests

If you are ordering goods for a holiday, race weekend or as a gift for a birthday etc, please inform us at Checkout in the 'Notes' field so we can make every effort to meet this important deadline.

UK Delivery Charges

We provide a free standard delivery using Royal Mail 1st Class delivery. Royal Mail aim to deliver all 1st Class items the next working day, although this is not guaranteed. Please allow 1-2 days for delivery. For bulky or heavy items Pearce Cycles will automatically upgrade your delivery by using TNT Courier on a next working day service. You will be notified if this is the case at Checkout.

Royal Mail Special Delivery - guaranteed by 12.00pm next day (Monday-Friday) mainland UK only, add £6.95 to the standard UK delivery rate. (Channel Isles, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland & Isle of Man will be a 48hr service only).

Royal Mail Special Delivery – guaranteed by 9.00am next day (Monday-Friday) mainland UK only, add £14.95 to the standard UK delivery rate.

Royal Mail Special Delivery Saturday – guaranteed by 12.00pm Saturday mainland UK only, add £19.95 to the standard UK delivery rate.

International Deliveries

For all European and International destinations you will need to contact us at shop@pearcecycles.co.uk for an individual delivery quote based on destination and weight.

For most international orders of +2Kg we’ll dispatch goods via TNT or Parcel Force Worldwide Courier. For items under 2Kg we use Royal Mail International Recorded or Registered. These services all offer tracking throughout and require a signature on receipt. Delivery times are dependant on the service used and destination.

Returns - Incorrect Deliveries

If we send an item that is different from what is listed on your invoice we will of course make an exchange to the correct item and pay your postage costs for returning the incorrect item to us. We strongly recommend you use a recorded/insured delivery service as we regret that we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.

  • Goods must be returned within 14 days of receipt.
  • Goods must be in original packaging.
  • Goods must not be fitted or used.
  • Goods must be accompanied with a completed Returns Form.

Returns - Faulty, Damaged or Broken Goods

All goods purchased from Pearce Cycles are covered by a full warranty. The normal duration is one year from purchase, although some products or manufacturers offer an extended warranty period. The duration is often confirmed within the original product packaging. The product warranty usually covers manufacturing defects, but will not cover crash damage, abuse, poor maintenance and general wear and tear. Should a product develop a fault within the warranty period please contact us to discuss possible solutions.

If you need to return the product to us for inspection, please ensure:

  • The product(s) is clean – not covered in oil or mud from your last ride!
  • You enclose your original receipt
  • You enclose a completed Returns Form

Normal Returns

We are happy to accept items back for a refund or exchange if they don’t fit, were incorrectly ordered, are damaged or faulty or even if you’ve simply just changed your mind.

It is not necessary to contact us before you making a return, but please complete our Returns Form fully to ensure we have all the necessary information relating to your return.

  • Goods must be returned within 21 days of receipt.
  • Goods must be unused and in original packaging.
  • Goods must be accompanied with a Completed Returns Form.

We strongly recommend you use a recorded/insured delivery service as we regret that we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.


Any refund will be made in the tender type originally transacted.
Note: DVDs, videos, books and magazines are non-exchangeable and non-returnable unless incorrectly sent or defective.
