Event Marshal Info & Application Form

Thank you for your interest in marshalling at the Pearce Cycles Downhill Series.

Marshals play an essential role at our events. We very much appreciate your assistance and will support you in the role.

Please note: You must be at least 17 years of age to marshal.

We provide all the safety equipment that you require to perform your role at the start of the day.
You will be allocated a marshal point on the course and supported by our chief marshal.
You do need to be self sufficient for a day on the hill with appropriate clothing including waterproofs and your own food and drink. We normally do a tea run during the day to keep your spirits up.

Hours we need you:

Saturday - Meet 8.30am at race registration in finish arena.
Sunday - Meet 7.30am at race registration in the finish arena.
We aim to finish by 5.30pm both days, however unforeseen stoppages during racing may extend the day slightly.

We pay an expenses fee of £75 a day to cover your food and travel.

Before the day, please have a read through the Marshal Handbook to familiarise yourself with your role.

Print out and bring a completed Marshal Staff Form to the event. If that's not possible we will have these on the day to fill in.
