Mark Matthews & Marin Bikes at Bucknell
A few days back we had a last minute call from Marin to say they would be in the area with top rider and super impressive trail builder Mark Matthews who was in the UK doing some shoots with the all new Marin Quake DH/trail bike.
Instead of chatting shop and getting cheesy photos for Instagram, we could see he wanted to ride. Luckily we were going up to work on some fresh trails we have in the works, so Mark along with Tom from Marin came with us and did a few runs.
Harry and Oliver were there as they have been helping build the trails with us and Ab happened to be around too, so came along to have a look. This land is private, so there is no access outside of events. This is due to planning restrictions, access issues and issues with locals due to the amount of mountain bike traffic around Bucknell.
Should all go to plan, this will be the venue for our round two race.
